Michael raced flat track from 1974 through 2019. Won the Sturgis Rally short track in 1976 & 1977, turned Pro in 1982. Started RASE LLC, promoting motorcycle tourism and flat track races in MT, WY and SD including a Grand National in MT (2008). RASE has sponsored over 50 amateur and AMA/AFT pros across the US, including several national champions. Michael serves on the Board of Rookies of '79 Charity to assist injured flat track racers.
