Gavin Trippe and Bruce Cox owned Motor Cycle Weekly between 1970 and 1984. They also promoted the World Championship MX USGP and The Superbikers at Carlsbad plus AMA National road races at Laguna Seca, Ontario Motor Speedway and Riverside Raceway, plus flat-track racing at Ascot. And they created the TransAtlantic Trophy US vs UK match race series.
