1979 AMA Rookie of the Year, sponsored by MX Fox. 1980 was picked up by FACTORY YAMAHA and took victory FLORIDA WINTER AMA Series final race & won Canadian Super X, 1981 February placed 1st 6th round of CMC Golden State Series 250 class, was runner up @ Daytona Super X , 1982 Red Bud AMA Trans USA won 500cc class, 1983 took home title Alberta Invitational 4 nite event, 1984 winner of Japan SuperX.
