Joanna Brownell-Needham

has been inducted into the

Hot Shoe Hall of Fame
April 13, 2021

Joanna Needham raced under the name Joanna Brownell. She was the AMA District 37 number 1 woman desert racer in 1985, '86 and '87. She won her women's class at the prestigious Barstow to Vegas Hare & Hound desert race in 1983 and '84. Later, she became the first woman motorcycle officer with the Los Angeles Police Department. She currently teaches motorcycle training classes in Las Vegas.
