Hot Shoe Hall of Fame

Swede Savage began racing professionally at age 16 for the AMA as a novice and won the point championship at Ascot. He was also California Dirt Track Champion and finished third in the national point standings, second at the AMA Daytona 100 miler, third in point standings at Ascot, and seventh in national standings with ten wins. Next was the expert class of AMA finishing in the top 20 with 24 wins. He also worked with Evel Knievel on stunt shows.
