Simply put JN Roberts was "King of the Desert". 4 consecutive wins at the Barstow to Vegas H&H, 34 D-37 desert overall wins,. #1 D-37 Heavyweight plate holder, overall titles at the Mint 400, Baja 500 and 1000, from the late 60s through the early 70's JN was "the man" when it came to how fast you could ride a motorcycle across the desert. He inspired a generation and along with Edison Dye and Malcolm Smith, put Husqvarna on the map in the US.
