Marcia Holley

has been inducted into the

Hot Shoe Hall of Fame
March 24, 2021

Marcia Holley is the first woman to ride a motorcycle over 200 MPH. She teamed up with Bonneville Motorcycle Icon Don Vesco, who recently set a world speed record of a top speed record on the same bike, Lightning Bolt. Marcia rode into the record book using one (of two) engines at an amazing speed of 229.361 MPH in 1978. Her courage and skill opened another door for women motorcycle racers and riders.
