Few promoters had the insight, drive and determination of Harry as he and World Champ Jack Milne decided to start speedway racing in the late 1960’s. Harry, the Godfather of Speedway, developed the speedway racing entertainment scene in Southern California from the Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. He created the environment for great racing talent to be showcased to motorcycling's largest weekly racing crowds.
