Cradley Heathen Team Hero. Phil's Individual Championship Titles include. 1978 British Champion. 1983 Overseas Champion. 6th place 1981 World long track Final. Retired in 1986 from British league after a crash in Australia. Phil spent the last 4 years of his career in California pleasing the spectators with his never say die attitude to racing. He also earned 2nd and 3rd place finishes in the USA Championship during his brief time in America.
