Larry Palmgren was a Grand National expert in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Larry rode for factory Triumph and Harley-Davidson, winning two AMA Grand national’s that include the 1969 Indy Mile and 1969 Reading Half-Mile. Other Accomplishments include the 1973 Expert East Regional AMA Championship , 1969 Louisville “Race of Champions, and 3 times Pikes Peaks overall winner. Larry is also well known for his engine tuning and building during his era.
