Competed: 1974 - 1986

Hank was a top privateer racer and one of the greatest Mile Dirt Track race winners ever. He won a total of 17 National wins, 12 Mile wins, 4 ½ Mile wins and 1 short track win. He was the 1974 Rookie of the year and was one of the early developmental riders for Honda. In 1978 Hank was the first man to average over 100 MPH on a Mile Dirt Track oval, and again in 1980 at 102 MPH.
